We have talked about mini stories, which is Blaine’s original term for those really short stories that we use to warm kids up early in the year for longer stories. I have been thinking lately how important they are, and how, although we have a small collection of them here (https://benslavic.com/blog/super-mini-stories-2/) I still would like to ask the group for some new ones. I even have a request that they follow a specific format, that seen here:
Max is hungry. There is a problem. Max has no mouth. Justin has two mouths. So Justin gives Max a mouth. (adopted from a Jim Tripp story)
Specifically I am looking for scripts of 3 to 5 sentences that still tell a complete story, preferably with a cute ending. I want to use them for workshops I am doing this summer. So if anybody has any more like this one involving no physical props (I personally never use props since they get so dirty and often distract the kids), I would appreciate it. Put them in the comment fields below and I will make a brand new category for these ultra short scripts.
