Leaving India

I’m breaking my contract here in New Delhi to return to the U.S. next year. It’s a long story (I don’t generally break contracts) that has to do with the pollution here and being a dad, which outweigh the great benefits of being in one of the elite schools in the world with an elite teacher in Linda Li.

The small classes and quality of students here at the American Embassy School have been instrumental in moving my own understanding of teaching using CI from good to very good. I feel super pumped about the kind of TPRS I am doing now. It is very badass. With my new Invisibles idea (which is my new year long curriculum), I have moved many many layers deeper into the CI onion this year.

So next year back in the U.S.A. next year I will offer my coaching/consulting services to any group that wants them, on a sliding fee scale depending on what the school/people being trained can afford. I  want to share what I know about TPRS with anyone who wants to know more, since the blog is unable to convey the depths of how teaching really works – the trainings are best live and involve lots of coaching. Therefore, it is best if the people being trained have already drunk the TPRS KoolAid. I ain’t no Susan Gross.

I intend to travel a lot helping teachers next year. This year in India has taught me much. I can’t wait to share in person what I have developed in the CI arena. I believe it is very good stuff.
