Bryan Whitney drew our attention to the term “language-like behavior” in a comment a few days ago. I appreciate that Michael and Eric and others have also shared so much valuable information here recently about the current VP stampede in support of Krashen.
This term “language-like behavior” is one that we can put into our munitions depot. It’s a grenade. I intend to toss it into the fray often. I will make a category for it and make it into a primer as well.
(I know we have too many categories here but it is helpful to me to find things – I consider the categories list as more of a glossary almost, a place where I can find key articles quickly, and this concept of language-like behavior is certainly key):
