Circling – 1

This post supports Ben Lev’s Power Point on circling, which he has invited us to modify, change to suit our needs if we present to anyone on circling, and Ben thank you for doing that and for sharing your observations about what all the other presenters there in CA were talking about – speech output (sic).
Ruth can we eventually put Ben’s slide show on the vPQA slide show in a kind of “When Presenting category” or something?
The reason I want to do a kind of return to the basics here with circling is for the new people but also I would like to ask the group for some feedback to see if I have it right.
Isn’t it funny that we do things every day that are very important in our teaching like circling and yet we rarely stop to talk about them, assuming that we have it all right and it doesn’t need talking about. Circling is a big deal and we need to make sure we have it right in our classrooms.
The basics of CI do need to be talked about, like when golfers revisit their swing from time to time. And circling is as important to us as the golf swing is to a pro golfer.
