PLC member Mochan asked in the Forum about course descriptions. Mochan has realized that, along with other transitions to teaching with CI, course descriptions can be adapted to reflect the process and goals of our fluency classes. Besides meeting an administrative requirement, well-written course descriptions can be used during the school year to help inform administrators and parents about what we’re asking of students and why.
We have excellent examples of early and elementary grade level course descriptions shared here by Catharina. They are in the Course Descriptions category. Can we gather some course description samples for middle and high school as well? You can send them to me at benslavic@yahoo.com and I will publish them as articles.
