Hi Ben,
This is Osman from Turkey. Last July I attended the NTPRS conference in Lisle, IL. Everything about TPRS method was going okay until the first day I attended your unscheduled evening TPRS sessions with other TPRS experts. To me, those sessions were much more effective than the regular NTPRS sessions because your sessions were more personal and they showed us clearly how to implement TPRS in class with the most basic techniques. I now implement TPRS in Turkey with my beginner English class and the class participation, attention and comprehension of the subjects have improved dramatically. I think more foreign language teachers should be trained in TPRS because it is an effective method.
