This is for a workshop in June. I was thinking that I should post announcements about regional workshops here some months in advance, and then if the organizers would remind me, post the announcement again about three or four weeks before the actual workshop dates.
So like with Agen, France, I have posted about it recently, but since the workshop is in July I would post about it again in late May or June. Like that. Skip Crosby then would remind me whenever he wants about the Maine workshop in October but then in late August or September he would remind me again. We just missed announcing a meeting of the New York group but Brigitte and I are ready to make sure we announce those early enough in the future.
Have you noticed how regional groups are forming? First Sabrina and then, when she came to Denver, Diane (who is now coming to Denver!) and Sean and others already have the beginnings of a dynamic Chicago group formed, and there is the New York group and Chill’s group in the New Jersey/Philadelphia area, not to mention what looks like a new group being formed in Northern California, which wishes us to know the following:
Basic TPRS/TCI/TESOL Seminar in Northern California
We are presenting a 5-day basic seminar on How To Teach Any Language With Comprehensible Input in Redding, California, June 23-27, with Global Connections Language Institute. Practicum time will be included. Language teachers in the Northern California/Southern Oregon areas are invited to join us. It will be a fun first training for a new TCI teacher or a great review for any TCI teacher.
