I wanted to let everyone on the PLC know about an upcoming opening, which has not yet been advertised. It is a 1 year temporary position, grades 5-8 Spanish at Cathedral School for Boys in San Francisco. This is the Episcopal all-boys school attached to Grace Cathedral on Nob Hill. Small classes, 4 sections is a full time load, TPRS-friendly, generous budget for supplementary materials and prof. development. The current Spanish teacher, Sarah Roggero, will be taking an administrative position while the school searches for a permanent candidate for that position.
This would be a great interim position for someone moving to the area, or for someone who is working on, or has just finished, a teaching credential.
