Eric Herman recently posted the information below to the moretprs list, and has graciously offered to share it with us here as well.
Thank you, Eric!
Hi Ben –
I would like to share my YouTube playlist “Teaching with Comprehensible Input.” I teach Spanish to grades 3-8.
or
I recently added 5 new demos. Numbers 7-11 are new. I now have demo videos of:
1-3) TPRS Step 2: Story
4-5) CI Magic
6) MovieTalk
7) Reader’s Theater (MovieTalk Reenactment)
8) Total Physical Response
9) TPRS Step 3: Reading
10) Power Verb Activity (5 minute PQA sessions of high-frequency verbs)
11) 3-Ring Circus: TPR’ing the Tenses
These videos are all accessible from my School Website where I link resources about second language acquisition and resources for acquiring Spanish:

My hope is that more teachers can observe these methods in action. I know not everyone can attend conferences and observing a class is one of the best ways to train new teachers. I love watching others demo the method and I always pick up something new from observing others. Remembering Diana Noonan [paraphrased]: “Teaching in this way, we have found, can be as varied as the different personalities of all teachers who try it. In fact, we have found that the personality of the teacher has absolutely nothing to do with the success of the method.” In other words, my videos represent just one way of doing this, but it’s important to make the method work with your personality and style.
I’d love constructive/critical feedback from anyone who watches any of the videos. I want to know if anyone has a suggestion for something I can do better.
Enjoy.
Eric
