Ludovic

I like it that we solve our problems together. Like a family.

Now for some sad news for some in our family in the Maine group. When I went up to Maine about five years ago, I was lucky that in attendance for that workshop was a fine man from Vermont – Ludovic. He struck me as someone who was in touch with the important things. Specifically, he was in touch with laughter. In fact, besides language teaching, he was studying the role of laughter. Laughter.

I’ll post this for those who remember Ludovic and just let skip explain it:

Hello Ben,

I was corresponding with Marcus Grace (he has attended every Maine conference including both of yours) from Vermont. He shared some news.

Do you remember Ludovic from 4-5 years ago (I think Ben’s first year)? He did the laughing circle with the entire group after lunch one day? Despite his victory over leukemia, he has struggled over the past 3 years with many health issues and hope is no more. He is dying – today.

Please feel free to share with those who appreciated him.

I LOVED how you validated him and allowed him to touch the group the way he did. He never returned to the conference and now I understand why.

I wanted you to know.

Skip

We celebrate Ludovic’s life and wish him safe passage.
