Hi! My name is and I am a middle school French teacher at IS383 in Bushwick, Brooklyn. I learned about TPRS from a presentation at a workshop I went to last spring. After an hour with the presenter I read a whole story and answered ten questions entirely in Portuguese, having never before studied Portuguese in my life. And I had fun doing it! I tried to replicate the lesson the next week in class and fell flat. I knew I needed more practice so I went to Blaine Ray’s workshop this past summer. It was great but I left feeling like my training was incomplete. I joined this community to have the extra support I need to be the teacher I want to be for my students.
