1. Using Music in a TCI class
2. Assessments (TCI style and standards based)
3. Embedded Readings
4. Using TPRS (the three steps) a DEMO with a lesser known language (Vietnamese)
Sabrina Sebban Janczak will do will be doing a demonstration of “YouTube and Discuss.” What is “YouTube and Discuss”? It is along the same lines as “Read and Discuss”; however, you watch a short clip with your students, pick out what’s happening, and discuss it as a class – all in comprehensible input of the second language. Sabrina will be demonstrating this in Italian, so attendees can experience it in a non-familiar language, like our students.
