I was stunned to find out that iJFLT published an article on Ashley Hastings’ MovieTalk technique in 2006: http://www.tprstories.com/ijflt/IJFLTFall06.pdf
Of course, I wasn’t doing TPRS your way yet at that point, so I missed it. OMG!!
Another surprising thing mentioned in that article is that someone named Cho was then investigating whether reading graded readers in conjunction with doing MovieTalk would speed acquisition.
I will write Dr. Hastings to ask about that!
