Hi Ben,
I work at the Academy of the New Church Secondary Schools near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I have been teaching French 1, 2 and 3 for about two years now. This is my first teaching position ever. When I was hired, my department head suggested I go to the National TPRS conference that summer. I went to St. Louis and was blown away. I STILL know most of the Russian Katya taught us beginners. Since then I’ve gone to a few more day-long workshops. I’ve also signed up to get a Master’s in teaching French, and so I’ve been spending several weeks each summer in Angers, France. The instructors there all have different teaching methods, but I’m not the only one using TPRS!
