Sabrina has given me persmission to put up a class, broken up into two videos, of one of her recent classes. Here is the first link:

When you ask them what grade the want and say Il faut travailler/You must work (saying those little things not connected to the target structures, before you start the story) I personally avoid doing that because some may not know what it means and I like it all to be comprehensible all the time. So I don’t say those little things like Il faut travailler. No breaks in comprehension brings higher motivation. However, my sense is that your kids have indeed acquired them, so you used them. You are the only one who knows what they have acquired. I say this to alert the group to the fact that whenever we say anything – anything – it must have been already acquired or we can’t use it. I am almost certain that Sabrina said Il faut travailler because those kids knew it. Just making the point here and using that as an example.
Cool use of applaudissez.
VERY comprehensible. Excellent clarity of expression. Nice French accent!
I liked that you asked the guy his name and he said it in French. A good form of simple output that they can do.
You could speed it up with the names. They get it. Too much time on Randy Savage stuff. I used to do that too.
GREAT sense of humor that you really appreciate what they are doing and suggesting. A great strength.
Pacing is superb. So slow. Too much time and too slow on the names, maybe, but the pacing on “Randy Savage went out with Betty Crocker” is just perfect. The group should see this and get this sense of timing and pacing. It is absolutely perfect pacing. Very rare to see that except from Linda Li.
This is a great example of things done right and can really help the group especially those who cannot get to a conference.
