It’s not typically expected that men in our society work at home, but it is of women. So, on this Mother’s Day, we salute all the women in our PLC community for not only bringing home the bacon but also frying it up in a pan.
Y’all champions work two full time jobs, often with children involved. Men probably couldn’t do that, and that is why women were probably given the job. So…Happy Mother’s Day, all of you moms and career professionals in a thankless, most demanding profession, both of them!
Laurie, having done this with her boys now in college, proves that it can be done, and with style, and so we salute her especially on this day. And now she is being a sort of mother to all of us whining babies as we try to find our way in the worlds that are our classrooms. Pretty classy! So thank you Laurie, especially, on this day. You are a great model for what a mom and a teacher can be.
