We need to have some examples of releases to videotape. I’ve got one somewhere but I can’t find it. I’ll look for it. Send ’em in. There are at least ten teachers, members of this blog community, who are needing to come up with a form before they can start taping.
However, it is important to note that some schools include a “permission to videotape” release in the paperwork generated on each kid at the beginning of the year. If that is the case in your school, you may not need the release.
Just go through the proper authorities and let’s see if we can get a comment thread going here on this topic. We can’t let something so puny prevent us from doing our work together.
