I’m back from Carolina and it was wonderful. I bobbleheaded in the Atlantic early morning water a lot on those superior beaches and just forgot about everything. I suggest we make relaxing a leitmotif this year in addition to talking about theory and practice of comprehension based instruction. I say we make one of our main goals for this year to remind each other to relax as much as possible and support each other in that way as well as with the other stuff. It will make us better teachers. I’ll post that Thomas Merton quote here because it is time for that again, as many of us take this way too seriously, right?
