Ben, you may have not liked your work for so many years but you have lived to unite as Mr. Frost guides us here in the poem. I hope that has given you some satisfaction as you hiked the trail towards the top of the happy-teacher mountain top.
Thanks Sean. I’m just very fortunate to have gone to India and developed an alternative to TPRS that works for me and to have found Tina and to KNOW that we have something that really works. I wouldn’t call it the “happy” teacher mountain top, because there is so much left to be done, but at least I feel for the first time that we are aligning w the research. And of course I am ever-grateful for our ten years here, even though the mojo is less than it was. We’ve been through some real wars and they made us better. But most of those years were TPRS, but now when Tina and I start that video training (free for PLC members) option in the fall, this site will be 100% dedicated to NTCI and to the mental health benefits that, in my opinion, it alone can bring.
To me it has already brought mental health benefits which I’ve always kind of dreamed of.
Sth I read in a book on Zen: The search is over but the journey goes on.
With NTCI the search for the right/most natural way to teach is over for me but the journey with NTCI never ends!
