Heard Some Hindi

A short report from India:
I was walking to work today past the British School and overheard some Hindi language – a guy was asking directions. I noticed that he packed about fifteen syllabus into about one second. It is the fastest and most packed language I have ever heard.
He must have studied hard in school. I bet there was a relative pronoun in that one second of speed, so he must have really taken that part of his education in Hindi very seriously. And can you imagine how hard he worked in Hindi class with lists of words to be able to pull up the right word that fast and put it into speech in less than a nano-second? Amazing.
OK that was tongue in cheek. But on a serious note I have come to deeply respect the people of India. They live in absurd conditions and yet stay very cheerful and convey (at least to foreigners) a sense of happiness with a smiling countenance. India is at the same time a land of treasure and a repository for filth.
I am less concerned about terrorism here than I would be in Colorado.
