Learning Styles Inventory – 1

Talking about the blurting L1/L2 thing, I even take an entire class, or more, each fall to get to know my kids using this learning styles inventory. It creates excellent discussion, and when I learn from it that a child is left brain dominant (not great for a CI class which requires whole brain response to sound), I am able to tell the kid, if needed, that their learning style and my teaching style are not great matches, and therefore I am extra proud of them when they try to listen. This builds trust. I even like to guess their three numbers. They love that. Sometimes I am pretty close, having observed them in class.
Here it is. There are others and I’m sure many of us use something like this with our students:
LSI1 001
LSI2 001
