Thank you. Now I have a better idea on how to address my low achieving and/or short attention span students. They always put their heads down and I am always afraid to challenge them too. I know I am going too fast sometimes because I am afraid to fall behind the agenda. My other concern is my high achievers will get very bored with it. (My course is an elective course that ranges from high achievers to the students who don’t want to be there, only because my parents made me do it.)
Tracy I have no pity on them on that account. And I don’t care if the high achievers complain. Tell them to contact the school board. In the next video I address some of that head down stuff a bit more.
A former student posted this article on Facebook today:

It talks about ACEs ( Adverse Childhood Experiences) Scores and a study by the CDC. Really interesting stuff!!!! Anyone out there in the state of Washington with any more info on this? It’s all about Archie.
with love,
Laurie
