I want to do this! I want to learn German and French. I teach Spanish.
What a GREAT idea!!! thank you Ben!
Bu Cathy teaches Indonesian in Australia. I was wondering if that was common, and what other languages are taught in school?
Indonesian is the third most commonly taught foreign language in Australia behind Japanese and Italian! Follow this link to see the others:

Scroll down quickly through the article because it is rubbish.
Behind Japanese and Italian? Never would’ve guessed.
By the way, Cathy told me that Bu means Mrs./Ms. So this wonderful addition to our group from Australia (there are two others!) is actually Cathy. Further clarification from Cathy:
…my students call me Bu Cathy, (& my very littlies at first think it is ‘Blue’ Cathy)! Bu means Mrs/Ms. My name is Catherine/ Cathy. In Indonesia everyone calls me Bu (teachers are very highly respected), but here in Australia colleagues call me Cathy….
I’d be interested in doing this kind of thing in the future, too.
I’d be very interested in this. I teach Spanish, so if a non Spanish, so please let me know if interested. tim.geerlings@gmail.com
