In one of my 3rd grade classes the fastest most ‘on’ kid has terrible/low literacy reading/writing skills and an IEP a mile long!!! Her regular classroom T can’t believe what a superstar she is in Spanish!!
It’s not just socio-economic justice – the playing field is leveled for ‘performance’ too…
