Sean and all your brave colleagues, our hearts and minds are with you, wishing you success in your endeavor. Stay strong!
Thanks Ben, Alisa, and Brigitte! It was a good day. Not as many teachers were gung-ho about striking yesterday as they were four years ago. The union pushed through a 1 day strike, and the legalities are iffy. But just about everyone is ready to go on strike for real. We won’t submit to greed! We won’t succumb to segregation!
“Tell me what democracy looks like!”
“This is what democracy looks like!”
And we won’t let them dismantle our union like they’ve been doing across the country!
Sean, my thoughts are with you Chicago teachers. The strike looks impressive…huge numbers. Keep making trouble Sean! 🙂
That’s Sean in front with the glasses- leading the march!
Been thinking about you and all the Chicago peeps. Adelante! Thank you for standing in truth and helping each of us to do that in whatever ways we need. <3
