1 thought on “Photo from Maine”
Back row: Megan, Eric Herman, John Daley, me, Laurie Clarq, Skip Crosby, Nathaniel Hardt, Jordan
Front: Mary Beth Tietgens, Anne, Todd Schongalla (yep mi esposo 😉
Sorry I did not get all the last names. Eek! It was an honor to learn with everyone.
This is a small sample size with huge energy. Peer coaching session was yesterday (Sat.) after 2 full days of CI camaraderie and energizing presentations by many in this tribe: Anne Matava, Sabrina, Eric, Laurie. As my pal Brogan Graham of November Project says: “the tribe is strong!” Next year we will get a photo of all 200 people in attendance. Heck yeah!
So fun to be with everyone and not feel like I have to explain myself. My belly hurts from laughing so much, thanks to John and Eric! 🙂 This was much needed fun, as our engine bit the dust on the way there. Fortunately we got connected through the fabulous Beth Crosby to a series of generous and kind and incredibly skilled local mechanics (the guy rebuilding the engine offered to loan us his car for 3 days!). We will get to go back to Maine next weekend to pick up our car with a new engine 😀
Got home yesterday afternoon to learn that a hard freeze was upon us, pulled 53 lb of carrots from the bed, and spent time processing them in the kitchen while listening to TEA WITH BVP!!! If you have not listened to this, go do it! SLA research infused with BVP wacky sense of humor and house party music. It was especially fun to hear questions and yell out the answers and then have them affirmed by “the man.” I really cannot get enough of this. Next weeks show is “What ever happened to comprehensible input?” Should be good. Link here: https://billvanpatten.wordpress.com
