1 thought on “New 65% Rubric”
Just trying to get my head around the nuts and bolts of this new format for the IC rubric. So we take class time at the end of the period every day for students to self-evaluate. Then I assume they turn in the form to me. Then at the end of the day I have a stack of 160 self evaluations that I go through individually and assess (writing in the gray box below their score) based on…my memory of each student’s behavior throughout the day? I must be missing something. This seems incredibly time consuming and cumbersome, not to mention limited by my own fading memory. By the time 3:30 rolls around, my brain is shot. I don’t trust myself to remember which students were engaged or not during first period.
