What’s his name? What’s his background? Share the dirt. That’s awesome.
This is the kind of person that teachers on this list might want to nudge to do more…. I’m thinking mainly about things like state standards ala the post today about CO schools’ new appendix thanks to Diane Noonan and company.
I’m feeling more and more that teachers who have found success with CI have a responsibility to advocate. It’s often tough to do, given our loads. But it can be done and its namely through gently educating, I’ve found. The primer that was recently created goes a long way, for instance.
TPRS publishing must have some good materials, though, honestly, I haven’t sought them out.
I just appointed to FLENJ’s executive board. (Foreign language educators of NJ.) I’m hoping to leverage this position to, obviously, advocate for more CI instruction.
Our Gwinnett County Public Schools new director of FL is Jon Valentine. Notably, Jon had been the State level director and left that position for this one. We have it going on in GCPS. He says that this is his dream job.
