What strikes me is a commenter that posted below the video that said:
“Whenever you have a very large group of people singing, it will usually sound good. There are people who are tone deaf, people with perfect pitch and people who are close to the note all singing in the group, and being able to hear people singing around them will make many members sing closer to the pitch than if they were on their own. More people end up singing the correct pitch, so that’s what the listener hears, and we don’t hear so much of the out of tune because there’s less of it.”
Analogous to how we teach, right?
