I see the thing with the videos as crucial but painful to put up. People don’t send many in. I wouldn’t either but I do believe that they help, even if they are not all wonderful and Jason Fritze-like. We must use the internet in any way possible when we are not together.

for putting yourself out there, despite your inherent vulnerabilities (which all teachers have no matter how gifted they are) . Of course nothing can equal experiencing a master teacher do it live, but in the absence of that I see these videos as extremely valuable, especially for beginner CI/TPRS teachers who desperately need something more tangible and concrete beside the books that are already available. I know your videos helped me so much at the beginning of my journey, and without which I wouldn’t be where I am today.
I watched your video this afternoon during my off period and I had a smile on the whole time (c ‘est trop mignon d’entendre les américains parler le français , même ceux comme toi qui n’ont pas d’accent!). I learned some too. I learned the difference in english between on/above and under/below. I never knew the difference because I took it for granted (the french words) because they were acquired and I didn’t have to learn them from the outside like you did. So thank you, even if it’s only a little thing but it made me happy to learn something new.
