Thanks, Laurie. I just played this in German and actually stumped Akinator (with Jonathan, son of King Saul). I think we will definitely play this in class before the end of the year.
I will probably use this in class. It couldn’t guess Blaine Ray for me, but its first two guesses were Hugh Heffner and Donald Trump.
Ah, fun. They have Chinese (yay! I still don’t take that for granted though it’s getting safer to do so). It figured out I meant Garfield the cat.
Akinator was a big hit in my French 2 class today. Many of the students already knew of Akinator and had played with it in English. I will use it more tomorrow in my other French classes. (I couldn’t use it in my first couple of classes today because I had to have the IT department unblock all the URL’s)

I used this today in all my classes it was a great TL opening exercise. Had to think twice about some words. It was fun though and all the students got involved.
