If the name of the game is to get the kids focused on meaning, which it is, then this is exactly what Alisa does. The pacing is perfect, as well. A great video. We see you hold their attention for six minutes, but long did that activity go in total minutes?
The main take-away for me is that Alisa is not in a hurry and hits each sentence with patience, so that the verb gets a really good strong rep each time. Really nice! We need more such elementary videos with teachers showing different CI activities. Thank you so much, Alisa!

Yay, I’ve been wanting to watch Alisa teach. This was very fun. I am really amazed at your keeping all these young children with you. Very nice flow to what was happening. It reminds me of watching some super kindergarten teachers at my previous school. The calm, firm/gentle mix, and the ability subtly and quickly to turn attention back when needed.
Also, I am amazed to say I probably understood about 90% of what I heard (not always the first time, but the pace & number of reps accomplished by giving the students choices helped a lot). I know very little Spanish, ex: Sesame Street is where I’ve heard it most.
I noticed how clear Alisa was as well Diane. Like transparent. This is they way it should be done and a window into the most difficult TPRS teaching of all. Alisa has told me she will send more stuff in. Between Alisa and Lance a lot will be accomplished here in the coming months.
