You already put in countless hours of your time collaborating, learning, refining, and reflecting with the other members of Ben’s PLC. Now you can get graduate credit for the hours you spend developing your professional practice online.
The courses offered are specially designed for hardworking, dedicated teachers like you. We have a “no busywork” philosophy. You are busy enough learning and implementing ideas about comprehensible input for your students.
CI 810: Comprehensible Input for Language Acquisition
Offered through Portland State University’s Graduate School of Education.
Choose from one-credit or three-credit options (quarter credits).
The cost is $160 for one credit and $280 for three.
The requirements are:
For one credit: 10 hours of online learning/collaborating, write up three activities, stories, or resources for your kids, and write a reflective essay (1-2 pages) on how the PLC work is impacting your practice.
For three credits: 30 hours of online learning/collaborating, write up nine activities, stories, or resources for your kids, and write a reflective essay (1-2 pages) on how the PLC work is impacting your practice.
Basically you get credit for the learning, collaborating, and creating you are already doing.
You have already taken huge steps in your professional development. Now you can earn credits too.
